Cookie Policy
This policy describes which cookies we use, why we use them, and how users can accept, reject, or later change non-essential categories.
1. What we use
CoinTrackerLab uses cookies and similar browser technologies such as local storage, consent state markers, and script-based event delivery mechanisms.
Some of these technologies are strictly necessary for the service, while others support analytics, performance measurement, advertising delivery, or affiliate monetization.
2. Cookie categories
We group non-essential technologies into Analytics and Advertising. Essential technologies remain active because they are required to provide the core service safely.
- Essential: security, language selection, consent memory, and core site operations.
- Analytics: Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and internal measurement events.
- Advertising: Google AdSense or comparable ad delivery and measurement technologies.
3. Consent choices
On first visit, non-essential technologies remain blocked until a valid choice is recorded. You can accept all, reject non-essential categories, or configure analytics and advertising separately.
Advertising can only be enabled together with analytics because campaign performance and fraud controls depend on measurement signals.
4. Browser privacy signals
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and there is no explicit consent preference stored, CoinTrackerLab treats non-essential cookies as rejected by default.
An explicit later choice from the user overrides that browser signal for future visits until the consent record expires or is reset.
5. Retention and updates
The consent cookie is retained for up to 180 days. When cookie policy wording or consent categories change materially, we may invalidate earlier consent records and ask you to choose again.
